Working Together to Feed More Neighbors

In June, we announced our collaboration with Hunger at Home, a local nonprofit dedicated to recovering and repurposing high-quality surplus food.

Just two and a half months into our partnership, Hunger at Home had provided more than 6,000 pounds of quality surplus food—mostly high-value proteins such as halal chicken and Antarctic salmon, along with essential kitchen staples.

These premium ingredients were enough to make more than 5,300 nourishing meals for children, families, working adults, seniors, unhoused neighbors, and others experiencing food insecurity in our community. The partnership also significantly reduced the cost of producing those meals, helping us stretch our resources even further.

In less than three months, our collaboration with Hunger at Home kept more than three tons of nutritious, high-quality food out of the landfill and instead put it to work nourishing our community.

Our partnership has been recognized by the Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits, which honored us with a 2026 Nonprofit Impact Award. The Collaborative Impact Award celebrates partnerships that demonstrate what is possible when organizations combine their expertise, resources and commitment to community.

More meals, lower costs, and less waste are something worth celebrating, as is the spirit of giving and collaboration we see among all involved in this project.
