Community Volunteer
Each year, our volunteers generously donate 42,000+ hours of their time to Loaves & Fishes. We are so proud and humbled by their service and commitment to the Bay Area community.
And each year, we have 5,300+ volunteers - everyone from grade school to individuals who are retired - who are taking time out of their days to help us out. These volunteers fuel our organization just as much as the food we serve fuels the community we serve.
Over the past two years, our dedicated volunteers have made tens of thousands of sandwiches that have fed our hungry neighbors and helped to give them a sense of hope.

HOW DO I GET MY COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS SIGNED OFF?
Please bring any community service paperwork (time cards, log sheets, etc.) to the kitchen when you volunteer. We only sign off on hours the day they are completed. We do not sign off on hours at later dates due to the amount of volunteers that help us serve everyday.
