We Do Loaves & Fishes provides
free meals to families and seniors in our community who need
our help. We lease the kitchens at St. Patrick’s Church,
located at 9th and Santa Clara Streets in downtown San Jose,
and at St. Maria Goretti Church, at Capitol and Senter Road,
to prepare and serve meals. Office is open
Monday through Friday. Loaves & Fishes Family Kitchen
does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic
origin, religion, gender, age handicap or sexual orientation.
Community
Service Program
Loaves & Fishes organizes and directs a
number of community service programs, including infant care
supplies and emergency outreach assistance. We also have extensive
holiday programs, including Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas
dinners, Santa Pictures, and Parent Shopping Day. We maintain
ongoing cooperative relationships with local agencies to facilitate
referrals to other service providers, and to better meet the
needs of those we serve.
